Tourism is empowerment and great tool to resolve the human wildlife issues and promote value in conservation practices. Assisting communities in the Lebombo Mountains to have equal balance in their livelihood activities and conservation. It has been a tough year for tourism with covid and environmental based challenges. Recent cyclone affected the communities yields and food supply. We are working on organic conservation agriculture with the Shewula community to secure food base and possibly open new markets and supporting Shewula Mountain Camp www.shewulacamp.org with its tourism product and training guides and chefs upskilling to provide top standard of hospitality. The area is a birding hotspot that has been under the radar a convergence zone between lowveld savannah and Indian ocean coastal scrub. We are assisting the community in developing Birding Tourism, Agri- Tourism and Rural Tourism in the region. We need your support in any form.
